Electronics Goes Green will feature four LCA to go presentations

The upcoming Electronics Goes Green 2012+, September 9-12, will feature a Fraunhofer tutorial on carbon footprinting in the electronics sector and the regular conference programme will see among the more than 100 papers accepted for presentations also 4 dedicated LCA to go highlights:

  • EDC and Fraunhofer will jointly present “Life Cycle Thinking in Small and Medium Sized Enterprises
    – Status Quo and Strategic Needs in the Electronics Sector”
  • UMC will address the “Development of a Simplified Carbon Footprinting Methodology for the Semiconductor Industry”
  • TU Delft is going to talk about “Application of LCA for eco-design of a textile-based large-area sensor system”
  • and MicroPro will report on “Environmental Product Assessments for Small Computer and Laptop Companies
    – MicroPro’s Experience with Eco-design and Product Service Systems”.
